Politics or Parents, where are the priorities?

The parents were just informed the following in response to my question

"What happened to the money that was allocated to repair the 30 year old building?"

Response given (source withheld)

• Money has been allocated to expand the weight room.
• Thereafter it came to the Board's attention that the pre-school needs repairs and the two have been tied together.
• The repairs would still need to be completed regardless of closing the pre-school. The weight room expansion would be precluded.
